→ All renters enrolled in the Openroom Rent Rewards Program
Does every dispute get looked at?
When an amount is disputed, Openroom will review your dispute within 10 business days from the time you file this dispute.
However, disputes made without supporting evidence will be rejected. You will be notified of the rejection to investigate further.
How do I dispute?
→ Sign up at https://openroom.ca/signup
→ Log in at https://openroom.ca/login/
→ See what’s wrong on your profile. Email in to [email protected] letting us know more details about what you believe is wrong
What does the dispute process look like?
→ We pause the reporting of claimed rental debt record to the Credit Bureau, if substantiated.
→ We reach out to your property management office.
→ We wait 7 business days for a response backIf no response back, we proceed with your claim to make adjustments where necessary.
→ If response back, we look at the evidence both parties supplied to make a declaration.
