How do I dispute?

You must have an Openroom account before you dispute because we need to validate you and that it's associated with an open Rental Debt record reported through Openroom.

1. Sign up at https://openroom.ca/signup

2. Log in at https://openroom.ca/login/

3. Click on Rental Debt on the left-side menu

4. Find the Rental Debt Record you are disputing. It is based on the rental unit address

5. Click on File a Dispute button on the right hand side

6. Fill out the Rental Debt - Dispute Form

What does the dispute process look like?

1. You submit a dispute, with evidence or explanation.

2. We review the evidence and/or explanation.
